The passing of member Rosaleen Dickson

The notice of Rosaleen Dickson passing is posted in the Ottawa Citizen on January 31,2017.

Thoughts from members:
Rosaleen and her husband David were active members of the NAGA Association in the early days of our Association.  Their contribution can be seen in the History of the Nepean Garden Association from 1991 to 2002 by  Ian A. Reid.
The Dickson's contributed greatly to the success of our Association. I knew both Rosaleen and David  on a personal level. They were fine people.
Ian Reid
She and her husband David were part of those hard-working originals who laid down some solid foundations for making NAGA  the great gardening place it is today.

Gardens that grow more than food - Article from Ottawa Citizen

On March 30 there was a great article about allotment gardening in the Ottawa Citizen by Shannon Moneo. Shannon lives and gardens on Vancouver Island and grows on a 250 sq ft plot, almost the size of a NAGA perennial. Read and enjoy the article.
