End of season clean up - reminder

Hi fellow gardeners,
Just to remind you that you must clear your annual plot(s) from all debris, sticks, posts, cages etc. by Oct 31, as per our agreement with you at the beginning of the season so that we can plough the gardens early in November. Plots with items remaining on them will be considered abandoned by the member.
Please ensure that all green residues are pulled and you can leave them on your plot if you cut them into small pieces. so that you don't have to carry them to compost bins. they will enrich your soil next season.
As for Corn and Sunflower stocks, they must be cut into small pieces (2 to 4 inches) and be left on your own plot as the can not be decomposed easily in our large compost bins. It is preferable if you dig them into your plot soil as well now.
Thank you for your cooperation and until next season, please read our newsletter next spring that will be mailed to you with your renewal application form. It will contain, as always, important information.
